The Alpha shot is a feature on Brink in which you turn your gun to the left and (presumably) right. It is rarely seen so it is thought that whenever a player uses this feature they must also aim down the sights.
Or in other words (for people who dont know what alpha shot is) it is leaning to one side to look around something to see and shoot your targets while exspossing as little of your body as possible.
