A Centaur is an automated vehicle maintenace bot.

Background

This robot used to be a maintenace bot that would repair any service areas as well as pick up heavy objects to allow maintenace crew members to repair them.

It was converted for military use during the Ark civil war and has been claimed for both sides.

Use

These bots are used to pickup heavy objects that people can not pick up and transport them back to certain areas for pickup by boat or helicopter. It is outfitted with a welding torch as demonstrated in the Container City level, meaning that the front end tool can be interchanged.
