EMP Grenades are an Operative Ability in Brink.
Description[]
EMP Grenades temporarily disable enemy turrets, mines, and radars. They also slow down the progress of enemy Hacks and HE Charges. There is a Cooldown period between successive uses.
Overview[]
This is a grenade which explodes upon impact, making cooking pointless. A moderate area effect then disables Turrets, Mines,Kevlar, Radars, Cortex Bombs and slows down HE Charges, Hackboxes PDA's, Command Post captures, Firewalls and Command Post Upgrades for ten seconds. EMP will also slow a bot (during certain missions such as Container City). Otherwise this grenade does no damage.
