I need help with computing on the subject of saving .jar files instead of extracting. I need to use a file that is a .zip file but it needs to be a .jar file. For some reason it is a completely different process than what others have to do. Downloading this file, it should say 'Do you want to open or save file?' with Open, Save and Cancel below. When I do it, it comes up with 'You have to choose an optiom', states the name of the file and origin, then says 'What should firefox do with this file? says 'open with' (choose a program) and save file. When I save the file it asks if I want to extract from WinRar an stuff like that. How can anybody help when it seems I am the only one with this problem? I have win7 OS so that might be the reason. I might partion my hardrive and put XP on so the program might work. If anybody can help it would be apreciated. Matt of the wastes 22:38, May 14, 2011 (UTC)

Do you have Java installed on your system? Mark (talk) 22:39, May 14, 2011 (UTC)
