Are grenades shot from underslung grenade launchers actually upgraded by frag blast and grenade damage perks from soldiers? Someone changed it on the underslung page, but on the perk itself it says otherwise. Bobby2055 20:35, August 31, 2011 (UTC)

This seems to happen a lot in Brink. The engineer's Kevlar ability says it can't be used to buff a soldier who already has the Kevlar ability, when it actually can. However, the text in the game says otherwise. I wish they'd change it. BeardedBassist 23:41, September 4, 2011 (UTC)

I just got both the grenade radius and damage abilites for my primary soldier character, and yes, both abilities carry over to the underslung grenade launcher. I think the text in the game was realy referring to the grenade launching weapons (the Lobster and the EZ-Nade), as either of these upgrades would make these weapons really overpowered. Since grenades fired from the underslung pretty much operate as standard grenades, apart from the fact that they explode on contact, I think they decided that they would allow the abilities to be used with the underslung. I suspect it's more just a result of the way the game is programed. The skills are programed to affect the frag grenade "skill". The two weapons are not related to the skill, so they arent affected. The attachment, on the other hand, likely just applies another modifier to the frag grenade "skill", thus stacking with the soldier abilities. ~Shadowcat
