Revision as of 11:50, 29 April 2011
Similar in appearance to its real-world counterpart, the Heckler and Koch UMP-45, the Galactic SMG has been confirmed from the E3 Customization video, and a screenshot of the SMG has been provided.

As of the time of the preview from which this screenshot was taken, its magazine held 40 rounds, as well as an additional 200 rounds of ammunition. Should this not change before Brink is released, this will translate to 6 magazines before the ammo supply runs dry.
Naming
The Galactic is based off of the H&K UMP45, UMP standing for Universal Machine Pistol. Both "universal" and "galactic" are descriptions of a range in space.
