Nerves of Steel increases the speed at which you disarm enemy explosives.
Nerves of Steel is an engineer ability that decreases the time it takes to disarm enemy explosives. It is a passive ability unlocked at rank 2. This ability can prove useful in disarming heavily protected bombs and beating the clock when overtime is disabled.
