The name of this weapon, and the following images of Mossberg 500 series shotguns, lead me to believe the Mossington is more meant to be an amalgam of Mossberg/remington, rather than the benelli m1014GT: ConceitedJarrad XBOX360 07:26, January 26, 2011 (UTC)
ill agree with the name as that is obvious. the full coke and the elevated foresight on a riser indicates to me that . . . . oh wait, its just a cartoon and doesnt have to be based on anything (and lets face it, theres not a lot you can do to a pump shotgun that sawing off the barrel doesnt undo in a hurry). i think CJ has a point. if it isnt obvious (like the name) it shouldnt be in the article. remember not every gas operated over the barrel wooden stock gun is a kalashnikov. Well, they do seem to be naming a good portion of the guns after real ones ("Hockler" machine pistol- Heckler+Koch, etc.). I just figured if we're going to be pointing out similarities, they might as well be as accurate as possible.GT: ConceitedJarrad XBOX360 08:34, January 26, 2011 (UTC)
- I thought it was the M10 at first because I play Call of Duty but, when you think about it, the name and the look are similar to the Mossingberg. Matt of the wastes 09:18, January 26, 2011 (UTC)
Are we sure that the Hjammerdeim has a slower reload than the Mossington? Based on the clip design of the Hjammerdeim, reloading should just be a matter of popping out the cylinder and putting in a new one, where the Mossington has to have 6 shells put in one at a time. I'm sure that posters are reluctant to say that the Hjammerdeim has both better ammo capacity and reload speed, but keep in mind that you are comparing a medium and a heavy weapon. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.23.24.249 (talk • contribs) 11:00, 17 March 2011
- It's also a good idea to keep in mind that this is still a game, and that capabilities of the guns can be completely different in comparison to their real-world counterparts. Obskura 17:11, March 17, 2011 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure the receiver is a Mossberg, as the sights and ejector port are of a similar design. However the buttstock seems to me to be closer to an M14 EBR sliding variant [1]. As for the barrel, I have no idea. Never seen anything like it. Nexolate 11:55, April 29, 2011 (UTC)
Number of Pellets?[]
Does anyone know how this weapon actually deals damage? It the 48% per shot or per pellet? How many pellets does it fire? What's the spread like? 24.5.139.20 00:14, May 16, 2011 (UTC)
